*is frightened*
Anyway, now for a little story-telling:
Beast by day, angel by night,
her true form shown only by the moon's pure light,
this is the way of a cursed maiden's life...
Again the Beast roamed through the forest, tearing through the undergrowth after the scent of a man on the wisp of the woodland air, and all Balor could do was cry inside the same words she cried every day,
"Please, let this one go, please..."
The man came into view, wandering cluelessly, kitted out like a warrior with the kind of reckless determination saved only for a fool who doesn't know what they're getting themselves into, and the ethereal Beast let out a blood-thirsty howl, whilst the maiden inside cried, the same words she cried every time,
"Please, let this one go, please..."
The man's face changed as he turned to the sound of the howl,
pallid with fear and his eyes glassy and round,
the Beast reared and raced towards him panting through sharp teeth,
longing and keen for the taste of meat,
but the maiden inside shrieked...
...and the beast froze on it's feet,
"Please, let this one go, please..."
The power of the Beast somehow halted by her sob, the man ran for his life, and the Beast thought...
"He'll be the last one I let go"
There, Beauty and the Beast, it seems the Beast might have a heart afterall, something to think on...
Anyway, I hope you like it Pengi, and I'm sorry it's a little scruffy and a little late *mumbles obsenities about flash being not-as-good-as-photoshop and her mother-whom wouldn't-allow-her-time-to-send-this-last-night under her breath* ^_^;
Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
